Little Spooky Sally was born as "Tanja Ortmaier" on the 2nd of June 1981 in Berlin / Germany… not liking her name too much 'cause it sounds pretty shitty she soon changed it into Miss Spooky Sally Cherrymuffin in hope of success and glamour...
Little Sally started spooking around in primary school and since 1993 messed around in high school to take her final exam in 2000... after 13 great years at school she wanted to experience real life and worked at her parents' orthopedic mechanic shop...
In her free time Spooky ran around with her camera and tried to capture everything that wasn't fast enough to hide in time...
After taking a closer look at some of the pictures she had taken, she realized that the pictures weren't actually that bad and started to get interested in photography...
Soon there were tons of books and magazines all over her room and her mind dealing with the theme of freezing time.
Shortly after, Sally took part in a practical training at a photographer’s studio adding fuel to the fire...
Enflamed Sally wanted more...
She realized that photography is the main thing she wants concentrate on for the rest of her life giving all of her heart, blood and sweat...
So finally in 2001 Miss Cherrymuffin moved to Hamburg and entered the Academy of Photography in order to learn every itsy-bitsy detail of taking really gooood pictures... She finished this education in 2004, and for not havin’ to do anything else, she even made her diploma, too!
For steppin’ a lil’ closer to her dreams every day she asked herself why wait and be sensible? Why not rent a lil’ studio right away?!
That’s how she started her own lil' muffin machinery in Hamburg. But due to several reasons she decided to move back to her beloved hometown two years later and now you can visit the beautiful Cherrymuffin Studios in Berlin, Friedrichshain and have your yummy pics taken there!
